Leadership

David Cavanaugh, Interim President

David is originally from Buffalo, NY and has been in the Boston area for 10 years. He first came to North Conway in 2011 to ski and fell in love with the town. The town reminded him of his hometown hill in Ellicottville NY, where he also married his wife Jen, slopeside at Holiday Valley. A goal as an adult was to own a “ski house” and he had narrowed the search to the MWV region and in 2019 that goal was achieved. Since then, he has introduced his son to skiing and he can be found zooming down the slopes at Cranmore or Attitash. David is a successful Biostatistician working with pharmaceutical companies in oncology drug development.

Renee De Pina, Secretary

Back in 2019, Renee began her search for a place to call her home away from home. She grew up vacationing every year with her family in New Hampshire and she wanted to continue the tradition. In 2020, Renee found a beautiful home in Madison. When she is not enjoying her Madison home, she is a Marketing Consultant focusing on the non-profit sector.

Dawn Aiello, Treasurer

Dawn is originally from Methuen, MA and currently resides in Hampstead, NH. In 2019, she purchased investment properties in Bartlett, NH and Bridgton, ME and has been running STRs in both since then. When she is not spending time up north, she is working with clients as a residential real estate agent in MA, NH and ME, or spending time with her beloved schnauzer, Eddie.

Nathaniel Rewey, Board Member

Nathaniel is currently the President of Elite Building Services, servicing the Boston area. Originally from Wisconsin, he has lived, studied, and worked in a variety of places including Colombia, Puerto Rico, Chile, and North Carolina before settling outside of Boston in 2015. He obtained his BA in Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1998 and his MBA from the University of Puerto Rico in 2015. Nathaniel and his wife, Betty, have been married for nearly 20 years and have two children, Oliver (8) and Ana Lucia (7). Nathaniel and Betty have been 2nd homeowners in Conway since 2016 and enjoy sharing their home with guests from all over the world when they are unable to use it themselves.

Eric Guire, Board Member

Eric grew up on Cape Cod and has lived in the Boston metro area the majority of his life. In 2022, he and his wife purchased a home on the slopes of Black Mtn in Jackson NH, where they are enjoying hiking and teaching their three kids to ski.  Eric has been an avid skier his whole life; as a youth he skied almost every mountain in New England, and during college he led the UMASS-Amherst ski club, a student business that runs ski trips to destinations across New England and Quebec.  Eric currently works as a Corporate Finance leader in the Biotech industry.

Ed Harvey, Board Member

Ed is originally from NY, but has spent the last 24 years in New England. After five years in Boston, Ed moved to the NH Seacoast where he has lived in Durham since 2006.  After spending years cramming into hotels with his wife and two kids every weekend to ski Wildcat, Ed and his family purchased land and built a cabin in Jackson. This was around the same time that Ed joined the Black Mountain ski patrol where he patrolled for 10 years. Ed is currently the Director of Advancement Finances for the University of New Hampshire Foundation and is pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration from UNH. Prior to UNHF, Ed worked for the University System of New Hampshire for 10 years. Traditionally busy with an annual yearend audit every summer, Ed has rented his cabin June through October since 2018. He also has a CAGS in Higher Ed Finance & Administration from Plymouth State University, an MLA in Nonprofit Management in Urban Affairs from Boston University where he worked during his time in Boston, and a BS in Accounting from Syracuse University.

Paul Mayer, Advisory Committee

Paul is retired from 25 years in local real estate. In the past he owned Black Bear Realty and served as President of the White Mountain Board of Realtors. He has been involved in the STR debate and protecting Personal Property Rights for years. Paul's educational background is in Hospitality Management & Business Law.
